I do not want to mislead so I will say that I believe these red African trade beads are approximately 200 or more years old. The white beads, also trade, also around 200 years old or older...but rare...were given to me. I was told they were used for trade in Africa and were Venetian. Used for accent are Thai sterling silver beads. Closed with a white organza ribbon, this piece is striking. Maybe I will be lucky in my searches and will find more of these ancient white beauties.
